Veterans Memorial Park

"Great park to walk the dog and stretch the legs."

"I was hesitant to come cause it doesn't look like much is there, but me and my pup needed some sunshine. I have absolutely no regrets! I found a trail shortly after parking and just followed it down, in less than 10 minutes I was absolutely stunned at the view I had, the walk is very mellow, chill, I wouldn't call it a hike definitely like walking through a neighborhood! I enjoyed it and so do my dog, I'd give it 5 starts but I couldn't find a bin for my doggy bag :/"

"It is a nice walk. It is very short but it goes all they around the Vista LakeRes. There are so many bits sons going on and cattails. The trail is nicely maintained and all flat w/bark mulch. There are doggie bags and trash cans. There are a few benches and two pic nic tables. The views are awesome. There is a beautiful wood covered shelter w/pic nic table & a scenic overlook w/descriptive sign. There is not many trees for shade as your walking but a couple."
